Texas holdemPhil Ivey

That was a modification of the classic "Stop and go". Nh Gus!

Stop and Go: When out of position in a tourney with effective short stacks and facing a preflop raise (or 3bet), you call and shove any flop.

I'm suprised Ivey didn't shove or call down since he was so short. (I'm assuming blinds were 20k/40k and that Ivey raised pot but I might be wrong about this.)

that hand was a joke. Either of them could have won it. Ivey could have easily shoved over the top of gus on that particular flop (and should have, it is gus after all, he's weak most of the time). The turn bluff by Gus was kind of obvious since he picked up the heart draw and had such a monstrous stack anyway so he wouldn't be risking much.
