That has to be the worst beat in the history of poker...
wow, what do you say to that? I mean, if you had quad aces and got beat by a royal flush, what the hell do you say to that?
If you flop a set of aces, river quads and lose!... THAT'S A BAD BEAT!
I wish that would have happened to Phil Hellmuth...it'd be an instant blow-up classic.
Royal flush is the same as a straight flush, its just the highest straight flush.
Mabuchi made the mistake of letting Philips see the turn. Now, granted Philips flopped the straight draw, and was coming along, but in reality if Mabuchi had gone all in after flop it is doubtful that Philips would have called. But again, Mabuchi was trying to get maximum value on his hand. Who on earth could put Philips on K-J of Diamonds..

Anayway it is probably the best way to lose in this game!
