That was a modification of the classic "Stop and go". Nh Gus! Stop and Go: When out of position in a tourney with effective short stacks and facing a preflop raise (or 3bet), you call and shove any flop. I'm suprised Ivey didn't shove or call down since he was so short. (I'm assuming blinds were 20k/40k and that Ivey raised pot but I might be wrong about this.)
that hand was a joke. Either of them could have won it. Ivey could have easily shoved over the top of gus on that particular flop (and should have, it is gus after all, he's weak most of the time). The turn bluff by Gus was kind of obvious since he picked up the heart draw and had such a monstrous stack anyway so he wouldn't be risking much.

This was bizarre.
Gutsy to go all in on the bullets. Good read to fold the pocket kings. Gut-wrenching to see the king on the flop. Pocket queens stay in the pot all the way through and end up winning the day.
It defies analysis on whether each decision was a good one. All you can say is that poker is there for people to enjoy the ride - win or lose.
Bad call from Hickman. His initial re-raise was a good move but once Kallakis goes all-in and KK takes forever to decide he needs to fold QQ. He should have known he was up against either KK or AA. Terrible call but he was lucky on the river

"What about 3100? Phil, would you have done 3100?" That's so legendary, in National Heads Up Poker.
Man what a winner. And still I wouldn't have been so disgusted about it if he just was kinda telling the truth whining-like, but he's so inconsequente about it. Because when he wins, suddenly everyone else plays great and was unlucky against him. I mean, grow up man!
Phill says he wouln't put more than 3k on 10-10 but it's funny that in 1989 WSOP he gambled the whole title on 9-9 and won. 1989 WSOP last hand was 9-9 vs A-7s it went like this: Phill bets preflop - Oponent raises - Phill goes all in Quite the same as Dwan on this video
I love this clip.

when you're a good player like phil ur bound to have the best hand most of the time which translates to the most outdraws and beats depending on how the action goes. i honestly don't see why phil didn't reraise if he thought he was bluffing becuase really, if any king, queen, jack, ten, or scare card sheiky could just push and get the same fold outa phil.
I love it how some of them say "beep beep beep" after Phil stands up and 'explodes' . it doesen't matter how phil gets beat, he always has something to say in regards to how the other player is a horrible player. If they're all so bad Phil, WHY DO THEY ALWAYS PUT YOU OUT ???!
