Darvin Moon, chip leader in the 2009 Main Event Final Table.
Too bad he lost. But he still gets over 5 million dollars for 2nd place.
He is a Nice guy, happy just being at the final table. You gotta appreciate his mild mannered, calming attitude towards the game of poker.
He looks so excited about being in the final table....

WSOP IS THE GREATEST TOURNAMENT IN THE WORLD!!
love that sound byte.
This is only the introduction, gives me a great feeling, and tells me why we all play the best game in the world .

21-year-old becomes youngest WSOP champion ever.
Youngest player ever to win the final table Main Event! Man this proves that the wiz kids that learn through internet poker are taking over. 2 years in a row two internet wiz kids get the most coveted bracelet.
Congrats Joe !!!

He is a good player, no doubt, but lady luck is the absolute only reason he won this tournament. He played like the typical online player pushing in 45 bb with pocket dueces against an overpair, and flops a set. Saout and Buchman in my opinion we're the 2 that should have played heads up. But the main event does have quite a few bad winners(Moneymaker, Jerry Yang, Jamie Gold) Its always good to be lucky.
Cada caught a guy out of his league and it was only a matter of time until Moon made a few serious mistakes.
luck is a big factor in poker. so is math.
no one that has gotten to the final table of the WSOP is bad, they have to do a lot of things right for 10+ day in order to get there.

The final table is set for the November Nine.
Phil Ivey has won two WSOP bracelets this year making a total of 7. He now sits 9,765,000 in chips in the Main Event going into November.
frusturating for many people but at least we got to see a few pro's at the final table this time
in taking some consolation phil ivey has finally secured his final table spot after so many years
As long as he doesn't keep mucking the best hands, he should do fine.

Ok, look, when you got to day 8 out of thousands of people, you obviously have skill above average. Now, yes, he blew up, he self-destructed, say what you want about how horrible that was, you simply cannot judge a player based on that alone.

My Point of view -
He thinks he can lay down kings on TV and become a hero? even if I was confident the other guy has aces I would at least call that bet to see a flop! what the hell was that guy thinking? Heprobably wasnt even thinking...
