Phil won the first title, but even if he didn't win, he is still one of the best in the world. It is hard to fight thousands of people to get to any final table Phil has entered. Great accomplishments.

That was a modification of the classic "Stop and go". Nh Gus!
Stop and Go: When out of position in a tourney with effective short stacks and facing a preflop raise (or 3bet), you call and shove any flop. I'm suprised Ivey didn't shove or call down since he was so short. (I'm assuming blinds were 20k/40k and that Ivey raised pot but I might be wrong about this.) that hand was a joke. Either of them could have won it. Ivey could have easily shoved over the top of gus on that particular flop (and should have, it is gus after all, he's weak most of the time). The turn bluff by Gus was kind of obvious since he picked up the heart draw and had such a monstrous stack anyway so he wouldn't be risking much.

Nomatter how well you prepare for poker and no matter how talented you are.. even phil ivey can't ensure to dodge the 3 outer to make his hand stand up
frusturating for many people but at least we got to see a few pro's at the final table this time in taking some consolation phil ivey has finally secured his final table spot after so many years ivey is a smart player more then anybody else left in the event as long as he keeps the chip count above average he could push anybody out of the event...anybody else would win by luck...we all know ivey is the man.

A battle between Gus Hansen and Phil Ivey
Gus may not be the best cash-game player the world has seen, but he's certainly one of the best tournament players out there. btw, he does'nt have lot's of flaws, he's playing the biggest games online and he's winning...

Quite awesome bluff versus bluff hand between poker superstars Ivey and Jackson.
Its so clear jackson is out of breath and he keeps covering he's mouth in awkward motions showing he's not comfortable and Ivey the shark picked it up as a intense bluff.
