It means you can be almost bust and an incredible change can happen and you can come back and win. The game is extremely volotile and a player who never gives up has a chance!
Well, Not really, if he says 'when luck shuts the door you have to come in through the window' I think he means that if you're on a draw and it misses, you can still steal the pot using your bluffing skills. Because burglars come in through the window as well.

It's a good fold, it's not that great of a bluff, even if doyle was semi bluffing fishman beats next to nothing there. That's a winning fold, sometimes you have to lay down the best hand. If you make that call often you're going to be a losing player.

Ofcourse, one hand is completely random. But over the course of thousands of hand is when luck plays a very small part in whether you win or lose. If you lose money in the long run it's because you're doing something wrong. Not because you were consistently unlucky. Notice how Norman Chad is sitting in the audience behind Doyle.
