Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) students breaks las vegas using card counting. In the mid-1990s, a team of American science students took on the might of the Las Vegas casinos, and came home with millions of dollars. They proved that, in one game at least, the house doesn't always win. It was blackjack. Their winnings marked the climax of a strugle between casino and player that began 40 years earlier with maths professor Edward Thorp.
Casinos - They always come out on top and even stack the games so that they are guaranteed money, maybe not from individuals but 'in the long run'. Then they ban those that contradict their games to give themselves the advantage, whether it be cheaters or counters. No, counters are actually the Robin Hoods of this scheme. The players are the underdogs.
